Ceremony in memory of Sephardim deported from France - Convoy 77

Associations Muestros Dezaparesidos and Convoi 77 cooperate to obtain informations and documents about Sephardi jews deported by convoy 77.

The 13th of june, association Convoi 77 attended a ceremony in memory of the 5 300 Sephardim deported from France, a small jew community from Ottoman Empire came to settle in France. Their story and names are gathered in a book : Mémorial des Judéo-Espagnols déportés de France.

Ambassador Aglaia Balta from Greece, Ambassador Fernando Carderera from Spain and Israeli attachée culturelle Elinor Agam attended the ceremony too.
